What do those words actually mean, the whole world obliterated? Everything we know and love just totally disappears?”
Adapted from Toshiki Okada’s acclaimed script and developed specifically for Summerhall’s Dissection Room, Fellswoop’s immersive blend of theatre and live music asks how we respond to a changing climate: with fear and denial, or by changing ourselves?
FellSwoop Theatre’s previous productions at the Edinburgh Fringe include Ablutions, which won Ignite Festival’s Critic’s Choice Award, and Belleville Rendez-Vous, which won the NSDF Methuen Drama Award for Emerging Artists. Both were sell-out productions and went on to tour the UK.
“Quietly gripping and thoroughly unsettling, this piece climbs inside you, like the best examples of sci-fi.” Exeunt
“Will haunt you long after you leave the theatre” A Younger Theatre
“That rarest of things: a bold and experimental play that manages to tell a complex and emotional story. It’s a must-see and one of the best plays of the festival.” Fringe Madrid
